Psychoterapia poznawczo behawioralna jako jedna z form terapii dla osób z mizofonią

Psychoterapie nurtu poznawczego i behawioralnego oparte są na współczesnych teoriach naukowych dotyczących funkcjonowania psychicznego człowieka i weryfikowane wynikami badań, nad ich skutecznością.

Pacjenci (klienci) i terapeuci pracują razem nad zidentyfikowaniem i zrozumieniem problemu w kontekście związku jaki występuje pomiędzy myślami, emocjami i zachowaniem danej osoby. W tej formie psychoterapii główny nacisk położony jest na trudności występujące "tu i teraz" - w bieżącym życiu pacjenta. Wspólny punkt widzenia na

problem występujący u pacjenta ustalany jest wspólnie przez terapeutę i pacjenta. Następnie określane są konkretne cele terapii, czasu jej trwania, oraz strategie terapeutyczne, których zasadność i skuteczność jest poddawana ciągłej ocenie.

 

Jak znaleźć terapeutę poznawczo behawioralnego?

Czy każdy psycholog, psychiatra jest psychoterapeutą poznawczo behawioralnym? Nie! Polecani psychoterapeuci znajdują się na liście osób posiadających Certyfikat Psychoterapeuty Poznawczo Behawioralnego, lub są w trakcie szkolenia w tej formie psychoterapii.

Czego można się spodziewać w trakcie terapii?

W terapii poznawczo-behawioralnej pacjent i terapeuta współpracują w:

  • Rozwinięciu sposobu rozumienia problemu pacjenta akceptowanego przez obie strony,
  •  Zidentyfikowaniu charakterystycznej dla danego pacjenta wzorca zależności myśli, uczucia , zachowanie i wpływu jaki ma on na codzienne funkcjonowanie pacjenta.

W oparciu o zrozumienie istoty problemu pacjenta, terapeuta wraz z pacjentem współpracują w ustaleniu celów terapii i planu leczenia. Terapia skupia się zazwyczaj na pomocy pacjentowi w znalezieniu takich sposobów rozwiązania obecnego problemu, które są bardziej skuteczne niż dotychczas stosowane. W procesie tym pacjenci często są zachęcani do wypróbowania nowych sposobów radzenia sobie w czasie pomiędzy sesjami.

Terapia przewiduje określoną ilość sesji. Zazwyczaj liczba sesji różni się w zależności od rodzaju i nasilenia problemu pacjenta. Sesje odbywają się zwykle raz w tygodniu, trwają godzinę , przez 10-15 tygodni. Długość terapii może być jednak bardzo różna. Po zakończeniu terapii pacjent i terapeuta umawiają się zwykle na określoną ilość ( zazwyczaj kilka) sesji w większych odstępach czasu. Sesje te mają na celu podtrzymanie efektów leczenia.
